| " How would you describe the band if you were a pressman or an editor? John Lennon meets Shakira (musically).
Why did you choose your name? No one else in the world has it.
What type of music do you play? When I perform solo, it's just me and my keyboard, in which case the music is pretty subdued and pensive, like that of Sarah MacLachlan. But when I perform with a back-up band, the songs tend to be louder (Alternative perhaps), driven by drums and bass, like Johnny's Got A Brand New Guitar.
How long have you been together? I've been writing songs since the age of fifteen, and started recording them ten years later.
What is your favorite song to perform and Why? Paloma. It's got some good chords with varying bass lines. I can perform it with just my keyboard, and can still get a rich sound. It's a song in Spanish that has a good message.
Where are you planning for your next shows? Small clubs and coffee houses around Hollywood/Los Angeles. " |
